The enlightened Gaucho

Once upon a time lived a gaucho in the Pampas. His name was Julio. He was happily married to his wife Julia. They had one son Julito. Julio was a diligent and committed husband, father, farmer and friend. Each day he woke up early in the morning, drank a mate tea, went to work in the fields, took care of their cows and sheep, met with his friends for a drink, returned home in the evening, had dinner with his family, kissed his son good-night, made love to his wife and went to sleep. One fine day he got enlightened. The next day he woke up early in the morning, drank a mate tea, went to work in the fields, took care of their cows and sheep, met with his friends for a drink, returned home in the evening, had dinner with his family, kissed his son good-night, made love to his wife and went to sleep…with a smile!

[Disclaimer: This is based on a true story. Resemblance with real people is intentional and not coincidental. Julio, Julia and Julito’s names have not been changed. They truly exist and live happily in Uruguay. Enlightment may or may have not happened.]
